Sugar loaf

The sugar loaf is the traditional way to preserve maple syrup. Our ancestors used to boil maple syrup longer, wait for it to crystallized and pour it in wooden moulds. All year, they would chop or grate the loaf and use it instead of regular sugar. You can grate this product on warm oatmeal, yogurt or ice cream. Sprinkle it on your latte or cappuccino. When having people over for brunch, place the sugar loaf on the table with a cute grater. Your guests will sure talk about it for a long time!
